The trio have been honoured for their outstanding achievements over the past 12 months. Agyemang was instrumental as the Lionesses secure Euro 2025, Littler secured the world title for the very first time, and Perrin burst onto the scene with a unprecedented innings. Littler claimed this honour in 2024 after his breakthrough year. The finalists were unveiled on a widely-listened-to radio show. The champion will be unveiled on the Sports Personality of the Year show on the 18th of December. The ceremony will be televised from 7 PM GMT. The Football Star Age: 19 Sport: Football Just three months after her senior team debut, Agyemang played a crucial and game-changing role in England's run to Euro 2025 glory. She came off the bench to score key tying goals in both the last eight and last four matches. Agyemang's stunning interventions led to her being named the tournament's top young talent. Subsequently, she was awarded the Golden Girl trophy for the best young player in Europe. She was also nominated for the Kopa Trophy for the planet's top young female footballer. Agyemang, who has been at Brighton in a temporary move from Arsenal, sustained a serious knee injury in October. "Being nominated for this award is incredible," said Agyemang. The Darts Prodigy Age: 18 Sport: Darts The year started for Littler in spectacular fashion as - at just 17 years old - he became the earliest-ever winner in history. He secured a dominant victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final. His subsequent victory at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth competitor to complete the prestigious three major tournament wins. And he wasn't finished there - his win in November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he climbed to world number one for the maiden occasion. At 18, he is the youngest man to do so, smashing the previous record. "Earning a spot on the shortlist for the honour once more is a big honour," stated Littler. "My victory in 2024 was a special memory for me and I've had another unbelievable 12 months. I want to continue elevating darts." The Cricket Sensation Age: 19 Sport: Cricket Perrin is one of English cricket's most exciting young talents and surged to prominence with an unbelievable and unprecedented innings in August. Her magnificent 42-ball century in The Hundred is the quickest ever by an English female in T20s. It also stands as the equal third-quickest women's T20 century in a premier tournament. Perrin came in second place in the season's run tally and was named PCA Women's Young Player of the Year. "I'm incredibly grateful to be named a finalist for the Young Sports Personality of the Year award," expressed Perrin. "It's a very special feeling.
